They've got an exceptional menu, sunset views, tropical cocktails, fresh seafood, a laid-back beach vibe during the day and live music and DJ’s in the evenings.

And the best part, you'll travel in style with the Riverhead Ferry! With a bar on board, plenty of space, and ports to plug in your own music, you'll deliver an experience your group won't ever forget.

Relax with a drink in hand while you cruise past Auckland's seaside suburbs of Orakei, Mission Bay, St Heliers as well as Browns Island, before heading inland to the Tamaki Estuary.

Choose from a day cruise for live music and cocktails in the sun, or an evening cruise for dinner and DJs; both options delivering an unforgettable experience. Afterward, we will drop you back to Z Pier where you can continue your party. Maybe next door at Swashbucklers or down the road at the Viaduct Harbour?

What you'll see

What you'll see will depend on safe water and wind direction, but it could include four of Auckland’s icons: the Harbour Bridge, Rangitoto Island, Bean Rock Lighthouse, and The Sky Tower. As well as this, you will pass the many coastal suburbs of Auckland such as Orakei, Mission Bay, St Heliers as well as Browns Island, before heading inland to the Tamaki Estuary.

Timing
This cruise is available to book Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We recommend you time your cruise with an event at Hello Sailor. Check upcoming events here.
The total trip takes 5 hours. This includes the journey from Z Pier to Half Moon Bay (1 hour 15-minutes), time ashore at Half Moon Bay (2 hours), and the return journey to Z Pier, Westhaven Marina.

Drop off & Pick Up

Food & Drink

Aboard the Riverhead Ferry choose from a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as bar snacks available for purchase (Eftpos available!)
At Hello Sailor, you can expect a vibrant mix of fresh seafood and upscale pub fare, with influences from Asian and other cuisines. Check out their menu here.

Amenities On The Ferry

Licensed bar, flushing toilet (and private bathroom), AUX sound system, indoor and outdoor seating, dance floor. Please wear soft, comfortable, and supportive shoes — no gumboots, penny heels, and work boots. 

Onboard The Ferry

Play your own music using our AUX sound system, while you enjoy the beautiful harbour scenery. You’ll have access to seating in the back and front of the boat, with comfortable indoor couches available to relax too. 

A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment is required if booking within 28 days of your chosen date.
